What's wrong with these people?
oh, its us.
We're in colorado cleaning out the "junk" from the house. Some might call it artifacts, some might call it a flea market. But we call it home. It's a lot of work- mentally and physically- to throw out or give away your old stuff.. I mean, it's just stuff but it holds such sentimentality to it. No one else can look at a Newcastle bottle cap turned keychain and think of all the places that thing went with me. It sat on many many bar tops across many many years.... But- it had to go. Everyone out, we need to make room for more stuff :) I don't want to buy anything for a long long time. I have tshirts I can't part with- WHY? It's not like I wear them... it's the thought that I COULD wear them if I wanted to. Yeah, like i'm going to bust out my senior prom dress any time soon. It was hot, but c'mon.. it's over let it go.
There are boxes of books, photos, photo albums, grateful dead schwag, probably some real schwag if I got down to really looking... geez... and my stuff mixed with T's stuff and we've got us an overwhelming week of cleaning torture.
We will get through it and it will make us stronger... or we'll build us a garage somewhere else to put it all in.
