HARD FREAKING WATER TROUBLES?

So, I'm not waiting for the water softener anymore..
here is a thread on how to remove the white residue from your dishwasher and dishes
I'm embarassed to give guests our glasses for drinking. it's nasty.

NO NO NO---As well as an initial running with 1 c white vinegar and 1 c of Lime-A-Way
and soaking the nasty glasses in hot water and both vinegar and limeaway.
I SPOKE WITH THE APPLIANCE SHOP AND THEY SAID LIMEAWAY WILL RUIN YOUR DISHWASHER

all that aside- I'm running mine with baking soda sprinkled on the bottom, in the 2nd rinse well and about 2-3 cups white vinegar in a measuring cup in the bottom rack. i'm trying to do the 2 birds option with all my glasses in the dishwasher.. wish me luck.

UPDATE- the vinegar didn't work... but i did find aoms lemi-shine...... and it was a miracle.. cleaned the dishwasher and all my glasses in one run. oNE RUN
