I went to Pinewood Reservoir this weekend. It's west of Carter Lake. We had spot 18.. in the shade, in the trees, on the rocks (with a twist). It went well.. Yahtzee and Farkle. I need to laminate a yahtzee card and have a spot for farkle on the back. I really need to write down farkle rules.
So- NOTE TO SELF.... I tried a new camping recipe this time. I brought a package of brownie mix (the el cheapo kind.. $0.90) I already had eggs and oil for breaky.. so I mixed that batter up in a ziploc and made a tin foil pan (greased) and I cooked brownies on the charcoal grill!!!! the only thing that would have made it better, is if I would have remembered to bring the mini marshmallows for s'more brownies. maybe next time.. to avoid the brown bottom syndrome, i will bring grahams and line the bottom of the "pan" and put mallows on top.. hard core yummy goodness!
