So, after work friday- went to a bar called Brooklyn's off wadsworth at 58th-ish with the people from work.... last day party - some dude... anyhoo. it was fun. I like to see people outside the environs of the day... lighter looks on their faces always seem more open, more receptive. I drank a few V/Cr & bolted fairly early- 11:30. I had to be prime time for saturday. I wanted a day of glory. what i got was fun. So saturday, i went shopping at flatirons... that place is a zoo. now i have hte basic layout chalked in for later in-&-out quickies. I was looking for an obviously non-existant thing.. cool clothes for people my age... WTF you bastards. I don't want to dress like a 12 year old nor do i want to cover up all my goodies.. so where are they? I need shopping therapy. I might need to accept my age... WAIT! I do, I just don't accept all the fluffy, ruffly poofy, pleated 80's fluorescent argyle bullshit they sell right now.

Saturday PM: off to Boulder to pick up D (girl from work who needs a good night out) and off to the Foundry to see SOMETHING UNDERGROUND play live. I had zero expectations on the band.. the evening.. all of it. I had fun.. I only drank a few drinks.. stayed remarkably clear as these drunken swing dancers thrashed into every last one of us. pinball bar dancing. the band rocked... topped off with a cover of digital underground's freaks of the industry... absofuckinglutely.
