Alright, chicks, here is my unsolicited 2 cents on the whole moving thing... it's true that it is expensive (but you can actually deduct your moving expenses and get a nice refund on your taxes) and it is difficult to leave family. I am an only child as you know and it was sooo hard to leave my folks but they totally understood that I needed to try out something different and supported me completely. And remember, you are always just a plane ride away - just ask Miss Dusti ;-) Kansas has it's upside - people are generally nice if not a little conservative. Eastern Kansas is quite pretty and it's cheap to live there. But hmmm... when you weigh that against the advantages of other places (for me the West Coast) then the answer seems obvious - MOOOOOVE!!! I know, I know, easy for me to say. I already did it. But if not now then when? You are far less likely to pick up and move after you reproduce. Maybe after you retire? Sure, you might decide to move to Miami and spend your last years in a pink and turquoise paradise. But waterskiing and backpacking and surfing and snowboarding are pretty much out of the question by that point. In the meantime I think you ladies should meet me in San Diego for some surfing lessons :)

On another note, I had a great time with Dusti and Nate while they were visiting. Dusti kicks ass because she is always up for an adventure! And she has herself a sweet beau too.
