Shopping, shopping, shopping! I am such a consumer - it's actually a little repulsive. I took yesterday off and it truly felt like Friday. So it was hard to believe that I had to come to work today. And not working often results in me spending money. Yesterdays big purchase was a new Cuisinart which I got a screamin' good deal on. Mervyn's was having a big sale and I got this sucker for guess how much?? 100 bucks! I was so stoked. I also bought a couple of shirts and a new pair of cute red shoes but the Cuisey was by far the coolest purchase. It was my first trip to Mervyn's (owned by Target) and I must say the experience was very positive. Then I get to work today and a guy at the Sierra Club is selling Sky Chairs that he bought too many of. Again, at an irresisitable price. So now I have a chair to hang on the back porch or in the back yard. Sweet.

What else? Kelly's dad and aunt are in town for a visit and tonight is Shannon and Whit's engagement party. It's aboard a ship called The World that Whit's parents live on, yes, I said they live on the ship. Ahh, to be rich. It would be more fun if I weren't a big chubster in the cute dress I borrowed from my friend Ann. I got some Spanx - hopefully the will help hold in the tummy. I wanted to make a flower choker like this one but didn't get around to it... oh well. I just need a flower and some ribbon - I guess it's not too late...
