So many great ideas but so little motivation this weekend. I did some thinking and some list-making but not much else. There was a trip to Sloat Garden Center where we purchased a kiwi vine (I always thought they grew on trees) and a lime tree. I also picked up a cute planter and some herbs - parsley, sage, rosemary and time. No, wait, that's a Simon and Garfunkle song. I bought rosemary, chives, basil, and cilantro. We have a small porch that has big glass windows in the ceiling and I think the herbs are gonna love it out there. And it's easy access when you want to add a pinch to whatever you might be brewing in the kitchen. I also walked the beach with Heather and talked more about surfing - we are thinking about heading to Santa Cruz for our mutual birthday to check out the boardwalk and maybe some surfing... girlsAdventureOUT offers instruction and inspiration in all sorts of outdoor activities.
